One person transported with serious injuries in East Nashville potential assault

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) —
One person has been transported and badly injured after a potential assault in East Nashville.

The man injured was taken the the hospital, FOX 17 News confirmed.
Officers were on the scene investigating the active scene around 7 a.m. Monday morning.
FOX 17 News reached out to Nashville Fire Department (NFD) for more information, but have not heard back at this time.
The incident was reported as a "hold up" to Metro Dispatch. The call was reported on North 2nd Street around 3:30 a.m. Monday, according to Metro Dispatch.
