Nashville awarded $407K grant for business park

The Town of Nashville and Nash County’s aspirations to build a shell building at the Nashville Business Center moved forward in a big way Thursday with an announcement from the Golden LEAF Foundation.

The town was awarded a $407,550 grant to rough grade Lot 3 in the industrial park. The 12-acre lot, which has been cleared and grubbed with the aid of a previous Golden LEAF grant, has significant surface slope, and the rough grading will make it suitable for industrial development.
