OPINION: I encourage you to vote “Yes” for a constitutional convention
It has been said that “If it’s not broke don’t fix it.” There are things in the Cherokee Nation government that are broken and need fixing. We are at the twenty-year mark, and it is critically important to review the Constitution to make sure Cherokees are guaranteed protections they have been denied. The Cherokee people will not have the opportunity to review the Constitution and our government for another 20 years.
