Midweek warm-up accompanied by a few showers & storms
WEDNESDAY - THURSDAY: Tuesday was the mildest, most comfortable day of the week, with highs in the mid-to-upper-70s and sunny skies. The cool air will stick around overnight into Wednesday morning, leading to lows in the 40s and low 50s with generally clear skies. Between late afternoon and early Wednesday night, a warm front will bring increasing clouds and a few showers and storms. There is a small chance of an isolated strong thunderstorm in southeast ND. Severe weather, however, will likely stay south of our region. Otherwise, it will be a mostly sunny day with highs in the upper 70s to low-80s. Morning also keeps isolated showers and rumbles of thunder in the forecast way as the warm front continues moving east. Of course, it will be hit-and miss with a slightly better chance of rain east of the Red River. By early afternoon, leftover showers will exit our region. Thursday’s morning lows will be in the upper-50s, while afternoon highs will climb into the upper-70s to mid-80s.
