The Elkhart Model Railroad Club is celebrating 73 years of its annual Train Show.

Visitors were welcome to experience the intricacies of model trains and meet the community around the hobby.

The trains featured ranged from traditional steam engines to modern models.

About 150 vendors came out to the event to help beginners and life-long enthusiasts alike build their collections.

Elkhart Model Railroad Club member Nathan Overmyer said, "We just want to have a lot of visitors for our vendors so that they like the show and want to come back and just entertain the public and have a nice, cool event that the public can come out to and be entertained."

This was the 4th year the event has been held at the Nappanee location.
