Flying Into Downtown Naperville

Hi, Leslie Harris here, and once again Naperville has outdone itself with the summer sculptures. This year’s theme is flying into summer, and 19 unique dragonfly benches are scattered throughout the downtown area. I LOVE dragonflies!

Dragonflies are the theme this year because they symbolize adapting, change and rebirth, just as downtown Naperville is going through many changes, growth and improvement.

The downtown Naperville alliance has been coordinating these sculptures since 2012.

I’ve seen photos of them, and they are stunning! I can’t wait to get to downtown Naperville to see them for myself. They are on display now through mid September.
