Keanu Reeves Performs With Band in First Live Show in Over 20 Years

By Nicole Wert,

Keanu Reeves is reuniting with his band, Dogstar, on stage for the first time in 20 years!

The 58-year-old John Wick actor hit the stage at the Bottlerock Music Festival in Napa, Calif., on Sat., May 27, where he performed with his '90s band.

Dogstar took to their Instagram page to thank the fans who came out to see them perform alongside a photo of Reeves and his bandmates Robert Mailhouse and Bret Domrose performing on stage with a packed crowd.

"Great to be back on stage! What a fantastic day we had. Thank you so much BottleRock," the band wrote in the caption.

They continued: "Thank you for all the kind comments and support. The love we received from the audience was really beautiful. The support here from everyone is everything. Have a lovely Memorial Day. ❤️"

Dogstar performed on the second day of the three-day music festival held in California's famed wine region, Napa Valley. Reeves could be seen on stage playing bass while Domrose strummed the guitar and Mailhouse banged on the drums.

Dogstar has been teasing a return for about a year now when they took to Instagram last July with an old photo of the band, writing "We're back" in the caption.

On Dec. 14, 2022, Reeves and producer Dave Trumfio shared a photo of the two in the studio , where they were putting the finishing touches on the new album, writing, "Last day of mixing the new Dogstar record in Silver Lake with @dtrumfio We are loving the new deep, lush sound."

The trio then followed up with several posts of the band rehearsing for shows, along with a snap that they shared earlier this month that gave a behind-the-scenes look at a photoshoot that could potentially be for the band's album cover .

Looks like the band is making a full-on comeback with their latest live performance over the weekend, and we can't wait to see what else they have in store!
