City Council Gets Update on Suffolk Downs Development
Tom O’Brien of HYM Development gave an update on the Suffolk Downs development project during a special city council committee of the whole meeting on Monday night. Councillors Joanne McKenna and Michelle Kelley introduced the motion, both to address rumors about the progress of development of the site at the former Suffolk Downs racetrack property, and to help understand how new growth revenue from the project will help with the funding of a new Revere High School.
Body of missing Mass. hiker found under boulder in NH river
The body of a Massachusetts hiker who'd been missing for nearly a month was found beneath a boulder in New Hampshire's White Mountains Tuesday, officials said. William Neal Donovan, a 65-year-old avid hiker from Cambridge, was reported missing April 16. His car was located about two weeks later at the Crawford Path parking lot in Carroll.
