‘Bloomin’ Good’ Volkswagen show held in downtown Nacogdoches

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - The “Bloomin’ Good” Volkswagen and Porsche show took place Saturday morning in Nacogdoches.

Volkswagen Beetles and buses, as well as Porsches, lined the field Saturday at Festival Park in Nacogdoches for the annual Bloomin’ Good show.

Volkswagen and Porsche owners entered their cars to be judged on different categories and for people’s choice awards.

All the proceeds collected were given to Hospice of East Texas.

“It’s show fees, we have raffles, we have an auction every year and people also donate for that very reason,” a member of the Volkswagen club that put on the event, Kris Foote, said.

This is the 16th year the event has been held.
