But no tour could demonstrate the project’s value so much as TMC’s cancellation of the tours on account of an ED brimming with patients, or a “code purple,” as it was described.

Emerine Drive into Tomb Town Tucson, a guided trail with props, decorations, pop-ups, animatronics, scare actors and classic Halloween movie characters in a cemetery atmosphere.

A Star Arrives from Indian Country
I first laid eyes on Clara Pratte when she arrived at my Washington office as a Udall Foundation Native Intern. Years later, we worked together on issues affecting Tucson and Arizona's water agencies. Her efforts were impressive. Now I find her name on a sample ballot for a critical seat on the Arizona Corporation Commission. I hope she wins not only because she will do an excellent job, but also because her successes in life perfectly match the positive spirit, hard work, and achievement our Country hungers for today.

Tucson City Coordinator Major Espinosa joined Tucson Now to kick off the season, sharing that every dollar dropped in a red kettle stays local. Eighty-two cents of every dollar goes directly back to the Tucson community, providing hot meals, pantry staples like bread and canned vegetables, hygiene essentials, and other basic necessities for neighbors in need.
