Roseland Police are investigating attempted car break-ins which residents believe took place in broad daylight yesterday afternoon, Sunday, Sept. 12. This is the second time in 2 weeks that this same Schweinberg Drive neighborhood has been targeted for car theft .

SUNDAY, SEPT. 11
- Two males were seen touching car door handles at several houses on Schweinberg Drive at about 2:05pm in the afternoon.
- Roseland Police responded to the incident and detectives were called for further investigation.
- Because the car doors were locked; no entry was made into the vehicles and no items were reported stolen
Suspects
Police reviewed home security footage and determined:
- 1 male was wearing grey pants, a black hoodie and black mask.
- 1 male was wearing black pants, a black hoodie and black mask.
- The two males left the scene in the vehicle they arrived in; a white 4-door sedan which could possibly have been an Audi or BMW.

SUNDAY, AUG. 29
- Just two weeks ago, in the same Schweinberg Drive neighborhood
- Two males were attempting to break into cars at about 5:40pm.
Suspects:
Police reviewed home security footage and determined:
- 4 black males, no other description
- The driver was wearing a red jacket
- The males left the scene in a grey vehicle
