2 hospitalized, 3 dogs dead after RV fire erupts in Grants Pass
GRANTS PASS, Ore. - An early morning RV fire broke out in the 1000 block of Plumtree Lane Monday morning. Rural Metro Fire, Grants Pass Fire and AMR-Josephine County responded to the area around 2:29 a.m. Rural Metro Fire’s Public Information Officer Austin Prince shared with NewsWatch 12 that two people are injured with burns. Multiple southern Oregon schools awarded over $4 million in summer grant funding
MEDFORD, Ore. - Thousands of students will benefit from House Bill 4082, which sends $30 million in state funding for summer learning opportunities. The bill was signed into law on April 17 by Gov. Tina Kotek. Sen. Jeff Golden -- who represents Medford, Phoenix, Talent, Jacksonville, Ruch and the Applegate Valley -- was also a sponsor of the funding that estimates 48,000 students across Oregon will benefit from summer learning programs this year.
