MURPHY, Ore. -- Firefighters are battling a fire southeast of Murphy, according to a Facebook post from ODF Southwest Oregon District.Â
The fire is estimated to be 1/10 of an acre, the post said, and is on top of a hill, spreading very slowly.Â
"Additional resources are currently en route. No homes in the area are threatened," the release said. "We’re investigating this incident as a potential lightning strike holdover fire."
