GENESEE COUNTY, MI – Teachers, paraprofessionals and education staffers are being sought by the Genesee Intermediate School District.
GISD will host a career fair from 9 a.m. to noon and 3-7 p.m. on June 7 at the Genesee Career Institute Conference Center, located at G-5081 Torrey Road in Mundy Township.
The organization will conduct one-on-one interviews with job seekers on site. If hired, GISD will cover fingerprinting and background check costs.
Vacancies include special education teachers, para-educators, early childhood teachers and classroom support, speech and language pathologists, social workers and school psychologists, accountants, bus drivers, IT and custodians.
Job seekers should bring several copies of their resume and be prepared for interviews. The event is free and open to the public.
“GISD employees touch the lives of students in Genesee County in a variety of ways,” said Eddie Kindle, associate superintendent at GISD. “Whatever you’re passionate about, we likely have a position where you can put your skills to work and make a positive impact on the students and families we have the pleasure of serving.”
A full list of open positions is available on the GISD website.
