Eyre, Hesler honored as SHAC Boys Track and Field Athletes of the Year

Landen Eyre of Whiteoak and Cody Hesler of North Adams were recognized as the Southern Hills Athletic Conference’s Co-Athletes of the Year for Boys Track and Field during the SHAC spring sports banquet.
At the SHAC meet, Eyre won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:02.67; the 1600-meter run with a time of 4:37.23; and the 3200-meter run with a time of 10:42.02. He also was a member of the SHAC champion 4x800 relay team.
Hesler won the 100-meter dash (11.48); the 200-meter dash (23.92); the 400-meter dash (51.13); and was a member of the SHAC champion 4x400 relay team.
