UPDATE: Police locate 3 young missing hunters from Mountain View on Big Island

Three young hunters went missing in Mountain View on June 3, 2023. They were later found in good health.

Hawai’i Police Department said the search is over for the three Big Island boys who were reported missing on June 3.

According to the latest release, 12-year-olds Kyston Madrid-Silva and Jensen Mercado-Silva, along with Jeno Mercado-Silva, 15, were located in Mountain View.

Officials sent out an alert early Sunday morning looking for the public’s help in locating the boys, who were last seen around noon on Ihope Road in Mountain View for a hunting trip. The latest report said they were located in good health.
