Kennedy senior Ethan Kleinschmit cut through the Heppner lineup like a hot knife through butter in Friday’s quarterfinal in Mount Angel.

The All-State pitcher threw a perfect game against the Mustangs (20-6, 13-2 Special District 7), propelling the No. 1 Trojans (29-0) to a 12-0 victory in a brisk 94 minutes.
