Kid's Fishing Day at Hordemann Pond in Moscow on April 27
Idaho Fish and Game's new fishing trailer will be stocked with rods and reels available for loan on a first-come, first-served basis. If you're not sure how to fish...no problem! Casting demonstrations and fishing instruction will be provided to new anglers. Hordemann Pond is located off Eisenhower Street between D and F streets. A fishing license is not required while the trailer is present, however all other regulations apply.

Vandal Giving Day sees record setting donations
MOSCOW, Idaho (KLEW) — The University of Idaho had a record-setting Vandal Giving Day. The university brought in 1.1 Million dollars in donations on April 2nd, 2024. It's an increase of $310,000 from last year's event. The event began in 2016 and runs for 1889 minutes, it celebrates the impact of philanthropy.
Moscow Middle tabs Summers for principal
A familiar face will take over the principal position for Moscow Middle School next year. On Wednesday, the Moscow School District voted to promote Teri Summers to the role. Summers has been the middle school’s assistant principal since 2019. She will replace Bill Holman, who has led the school since 2018.
