NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A First Alert Weather Day is in effect for late today and tonight due to the risk of strong to severe storms that are likely to move into the area. Damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours will be our main storm threats, along with lightning and thunder. There could be some hail and the tornado threat is low, but it is not completely zero.
