    Pierz tennis falls short to Osakis; Flyers beat Foley

    The Pierz Pioneers had a tough match against Osakis Tuesday, Sept. 3, just falling short 3-4.

    The Pioneers had their best performance in the doubles matches, starting with Madelyn Kessler and Clara Tax winning in two sets (6-2, 7-5). Olivia Thielen and Kansas Block won their match 6-3 and 6-2. Brooke Athman and McKenna Hoheisel capped off the doubles matches with 6-1 and 6-3. Adi Tomala won her singles match in three sets (6-3, 1-6, 10-5).

    The Pioneers hosted Pine City Thursday, Sept. 5 and will also host Parkers Prairie Monday, Sept. 9.

    Flyers upset Foley

    The Little Falls Flyers had a great meet to start the month, beating Foley on the road 4-3. In the Singles matches, Elise Ballou won 6-0 and 7-5. Olivia Litke won her match 6-3 and 6-2. Addie Ranta wrapped up the singles with a 6-2 and 6-0 win. The Flyers won one doubles match by Myla Ballou and Aylah Iverson (6-4, 6-2).

    The Flyers hosted Aitktin Thursday, Sept. 5. They will travel to a triangular meet in Moorhead Monday, Sept. 9.
