    Flyers soccer team dominate Lakers

    The Little Falls Flyers boys soccer team hosted Minnewaska Area Lakers Tuesday, Sept. 3, winning 4-1.

    Minnewaska started the game with their only goal at 25:06 in the half. The Flyers’ first goal was made by Cayden Neisen over four minutes in the second half, assisted by Marvin Esquivel. Neisen scored again six minutes later, but this time was helped by Adrian Ambriz.

    At 17:29 in the game Niesen would be set up for his next score from a Dylan Inwards kick over the goalkeeper that Neisen toe-tapped in. Finally, Neisen capped off the score with a little over 10 minutes left in the game when he obtained the ball at mid-field and beating the goal keeper to the net.

    The Flyers made 11 shots with nine shots on frame. Minnewaska Area had eight shots on frame. The Flyers’ goal keeper Isaac Bell made seven saves on eight shots.

    The Flyers improved their season record 2-2. They traveled to their first road game of the season at St. John’s Prep Thursday, Sept. 5. They will host St. Cloud Cathedral Tuesday, Sept. 10.
