Newton Softball Team Bested by Morris Hills
NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School softball team lost 12-2 in a six inning game when they hosted Morris Hills on Monday, April 22. Jordyn Young went 2-for-3 at bat with two doubles, an RBI and one run scored. Jaida Long went 1-for-3 at bat with a single and an RBI. Long struck out two batters, but allowed seven runs off nine hits. Fehr struck out one and allowed five runs off eight hits. Baseball; Morristown Falls to Cross Town Rival Delbarton; 15-3
MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Morristown baseball fell to Delbarton; 15-3 on Wednesday afternoon. The game ended after five innings. Delbarton scored seven innings in the second and three in the third. Morristown added three runs of their own in the bottom of the third but weren't able to any more.
