Get ready for the 2023 edition of the Backyard Brawl.
The Pitt Panthers will travel to West Virginia to take on the Mountaineers in prime time.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and will air nationally on ABC and will be heard, right here on 93.7 The Fan, along with every other Pitt game.
It’s the 106th edition of the Backyard Brawl.
It will be Pitt’s first visit to Morgantown since 2011, when they lost to the Mountaineers 21-20.
Tino Sunseri was the quarterback in that loss. He through for 137 yards and was sacked 10 times.
Aaron Donald was also a member of that Panthers team.
The Panthers won the first game of the renewed rivalry last year at Acrisure Stadium 38-31.
Pitt will also play WVU in 2024 and 2025 and then will pick up play once again 2029-2032.
