Big Rock: Pair of 500-pounders weighed in on opening day

A pair of 500-pound fish came to the scales in Morehead City on Monday at the conclusion of Day 1 of the 66th Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament.

The second fish of the day, a 516-pounder caught by Game Time, was good enough for first place. It supplanted a 504-pound fish weighed in by Release earlier in the afternoon.

Post Call, Marsh Madness and MJs topped the leaderboard for released fish.

Fishing resumed on Tuesday.
