An 8-year-old girl was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon after being attacked by two German shepherd dogs.The attack was reported to the Mora County Sheriff's Department just after 5 p.m. Officers went to the girl's residence, where they saw that she had lacerations to her head and body, MCSD Officer Joey Romano said.She was airlifted to the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque with critical injuries, Romano said. The two dogs who attacked her are being quarantined.
