WS softball season wrapup
The Lady Pirates went two and out in the 2A District 5 softball tournament ending a season full of growth for the young team. On May 8th they started the tournament against Malad and lost 0-15 in three innings. Later in the day West Side hung in there against Soda Springs for a full game. They trailed 2-5 at the top of the fourth inning where they plated two runs and added two more in the top of the fifth to take a 6-5 lead. West Side couldn’t hold the Cardinals, who scored six times in the bottom of the inning, and lost to Soda Springs 6-12.
