Montmorency County Inmates lodged in Alpena County Jail: 7

March 6

6:49 p.m.: A single vehicle roll over in Vienna Township was reported by the driver. MCSO deputies, Tri Township EMS, Vienna Fire and Albert Township Fire all responded to the scene. The driver was assessed for injuries, she had no injuries and was released by the ambulance.

March 7

11:52 p.m.: A call came into the center about horses in Rust Township that were walking on the side of the road; deputies responded and the owner of the horses were located and cited for animals at large.

March 8

5:13 p.m.: A dispute at a business in Albert Township was reported, a deputy responded to the scene to speak with both parties.

March 10

7:52 a.m.: Our ERT officer was requested to assist in Arenac County for a barricaded gunman with a hostage; he responded to Arenac County. The hostage was released and the suspect was detained.
