The Warriors racked up nearly 400 yards of offense on their way to a 29-0 shut-out of the Generals. Warrior quarterback Landon LaRosa threw for 10-for-17 for 150 yards and one touchdown. Tigers fall to Eagles
On Friday, Sept. 8, the Jefferson County High School Tigers hosted the Eagles of North Florida Christian School, from Tallahassee. The Tigers fell behind early and were not able to catch the Eagles as they were defeated 47-12. The Eagles struck first and held a 7-0 lead as the opening quarter drew to a close. The Tigers were then outscored 20-6 during the second quarter and, by halftime, found themselves in a 27-6 deficit. The Tigers were again outscored in the third period, 17-0. The Tigers attempted to claw their way back into the contest, scoring another six points, while holding the Eagles to one field goal in the final quarter of play.
