Sheriff’s Office seeks to identify Mall Theft Suspects
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the two women pictured below in a theft investigation. On Sunday, May 5, 2024, these women entered the Macy’s store located at the Woodlands Mall and stole several hundred dollars worth of clothing. The women used the baby stroller to conceal the stolen items.

Montgomery County awards tax abatement to California-based Bionova Scientific
Montgomery County Commissioners Court meets at 9:30 a.m. every other Tuesday at 501 N. Thompson Road, Conroe. (Lizzy Spangler/Community Impact) Montgomery County commissioners on May 7 approved a tax abatement for a life sciences company proposing to locate a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in The Woodlands that is expected to create 57 new full-time jobs, according to the agreement.
