Explore the Carnegie Museum this summer.
Children, ages 4 to 12, are encouraged to participate in the 15th annual Summer at the Museum program. The program began May 30 and continues through Aug. 5.
Multiple visits to the museum at 222 S. Washington St. over the summer will allow children to complete activities and earn prizes. Activities will vary by age, with some different activities for younger and older kids. All answers can be found in the museum, and staff are always available to give hints and/or explanations.
Summer at the Museum activities include scavenger hunts, science experiments, crafts, puzzles and much more.
The current exhibits, The Amazing Castle and Crinoids of Montgomery County, are featured in this year’s program.

During the months of June and July, the Carnegie Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and other times by appointment. In August, the museum will return to its normal public hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
Admission to the museum is free, and the building is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
