Suspect sought in Memorial Day homicide in Montgomery

An investigation is underway into a fatal shooting early today in Montgomery.

Police were notified about 3:15 a.m. Monday that a gunshot victim showed up at the hospital, said Maj. Saba Coleman.

The victim, 22-year-old Rondarius McQueen, was pronounced dead a short time later.

Coleman said investigators determined the shooting happened on Folmar Parkway. No other details have been released by police.

Central Alabama Crime Stoppers later Monday released a picture of a suspect. They are asking for the public’s help identifying him.
