Montclair, NJ – A group of 10 Montclair High School juniors have been selected to participate in the second year of the Weston Health Internship Program (WHIP). The students will spend two weeks this summer shadowing physicians across a range of specialties at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in order to learn more about potential careers in medicine.

Due to significant student interest, the program, which is free, doubled in size this year. Students were selected based on their academic achievement in science and math, demonstrated interest in becoming a healthcare professional, and a series of interviews conducted over the past three months.
