Music studio student recital
DOVER-FOXCROFT — On Sunday, May 12 at 2 p.m. the students of the North Country Strings Music Studio as well as those of Margery Aumann’s Piano Studio will present a spring recital for the public in the beautifully restored hall at Central Hall Commons. Soloists and small ensembles will be featured, performing traditional, classical, popular, and jazz music on violin, viola, guitar, piano, cello, and bass. Reception to follow.

DOVER-FOXCROFT — On Thursday, May 9 Foxcroft Academy held a special ceremony to announce the Class of 2024 outstanding scholars at its annual Rose Award ceremony. This year the recipients are Ashton Ade, Noah Cavanagh, Olivia Gage, Annabelle Holman, Hilary Howard, Conner Johnston, Elyse Nutter, Taylor Pahlavan, Aubry Paradis, Amara Perfect, and Wyatt Rayfield.
Greenville officials presented with fence, housing density ordinances

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Foxcroft Academy girls and boys teams both finished in first place during a home Penobscot Valley Conference meet on May 3. The Pony girls compiled a score of 253 points to place first among a field of three schools as the team had five first-place performances.
