Woman Arrested For OWI After Going Wrong Way On Divided Highway
A woman from Lafayette County was arrested after being found traveling the wrong way on Highway 11 in Green County around 11:35 PM Thursday. Green County authorities arrested 21 year old Brenna McDonald of Gratiot. McDonald was placed under arrest for Operating While Under the Influence of Alcohol. McDonald was further cited for Prohibited Alcohol Concentration and Driving the Wrong Way on a Divided Highway. McDonald was later released to a responsible party with a future court date.
Taste of Lena returns with an appearance from Miss Illinois USA 2023 winner

Four arrested during Dane Co. traffic operation
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Dane County law enforcement officials arrested four people Thursday during a four-hour traffic operation, the sheriff’s office revealed. Deputies with the Dane Co. Sheriff’s Office, various police departments, FBI Safe Streets and Wisconsin State Patrol worked together on the joint proactive operation. Officials engaged in three chases, issued one civil process warrant and discovered one loaded gun. Four people face charges after the traffic stops:
Lingonberry Llama serves breakfast and lunch with a side of whimsy
Cafe owner Deb Buol has decorated almost every inch of Belleville’s Lingonberry Llama coffee shop with a colorful dash of whimsy. Diners in the restaurant and bakery can clearly see the theme in the cafe’s large collection of cute and kitschy llamas. There are photos, paintings, coffee mugs, Christmas ornaments, stuffed animals, children’s books and textiles — all featuring llamas — gracing nearly every wall and shelf. Buol adds a similar helping of fun to baked goods and beverages with edible glitter.
Night of magic will support Eagle Nature Foundation in Apple River
The Eagle Nature Foundation (ENF) and the Apple River State Bank (ARSB) will sponsor a three-person magic show in the Apple River Event Center as a fund raiser for the Eagle Nature Foundation at 7 p.m. June 20. The three professional magicians from Jo Daviess County, who will donate their time to help ENF raise needed funds to study the Bald Eagle, are Jim McCrea, P.T. Murphy and David Sigafus.
