North Louisiana is known for its rich cultural heritage and vibrant arts scene, and the annual New Music on the Bayou concerts have become a cornerstone of the summer music scene. The concerts will be held at a variety of venues May 31 - June 2, in Monroe and Ruston. Selections will feature a diverse range of styles and genres, from experimental electronic music to chamber music and everything in between. Each year, the festival features a carefully curated selection of new works by emerging and established composers, offering audiences a chance to hear cutting-edge music that is not often heard in traditional concert halls.
