ALBANY — Round two of Monroe vs. Lee County in summer basketball saw Lee County rising junior Josiah Parker find another gear and lead his Trojans past the Golden Tornadoes 38-26. Monroe had taken a 45-41 decision Friday during the summer games at Dougherty.

Scoring in the game began slowly and the Trojans led 9-8 with just three minutes remaining in the first half before Monroe’s Justin Burns hit three consecutive baskets, including a resounding slam dunk to give Monroe a 14-11 lead. Lee County’s Braylon Chaney tied the game at the half with a long three-pointer.
