Something to Think About

Time flies as they say. June already, wrapping up the first half of the year.

School days are dwindling down, graduations upon us, and so many celebrations to be had! Now that the days are longer and the weather warmer, there are plenty of things to do to fill up the schedule.

Time to get the schedule pulled up and start “penciling in” the many events and adventures that are coming up in June. For the History buff, the Monroe County Historical Association has a series called Third Thursday Lectures that will focus on interesting historical events and figures from Monroe County.

The next program offered on June 8 at 6:30 p.m.is entitled, “Clara, We Hardly Knew You: The Story of Clara Adams” at the Western Pocono Community Library. Clara Adams was a world-renowned socialite and world traveler who lived in Tannersville.
