The Will County Coroner has identified the names of the victims in two fatal incidents from Monday evening. The victim in Monday evening’s fatal shooting on Fairlane Drive has been identified as 53-year-old Matthew Woodfork the third. HAMMOND, IN – Elementary school students discovered a handgun on a School City of Hammond bus during an afternoon route on Tuesday. The district confirmed that a high school student had left the gun on the bus during a previous route. This marks the second gun-related incident in the district this year.

It was a violent week at Joliet high schools due to fights and a shooting just off campus at Joliet Central. It happened on Thursday, March 23 and resulted in the arrest of four individuals with the school being placed on lockdown. Across town WJOL received reports of multiple fights throughout the week at Joliet West including an all out brawl in the cafeteria on Wednesday. WJOL reached out to the school district for a comment on what took place.

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The FBI is asking for your help in tracking down two men who robbed an armored car in Calumet City. The FBI says the robbery happened Monday morning in the Big Lots parking lot near River Oaks Drive and Ring Road. The suspects were both armed and wearing dark-colored hoodies. No one was hurt.Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities. 

The Frankfort Bluegrass Festival has announced its lineup for the 11th Annual event, set to take place on July 8th and 9th, 2023. New Lenox Township Supervisor Donald Wennlund is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol and other charges. Authorities say Will County deputes saw a truck leaving a home near 143rd and Chicory Trail in Homer Glen with its hazard lights on March 6th. Officers stopped the vehicle, which was being driven by Wennlund. He was arrested after deputies observed behaviors that gave them reason to believe he was under the influence of alcohol.
