UPDATE (8:30 pm): Authorities say Caples has been located safely.
ORIGINAL (8:02 pm): Mohave County Sheriff's Office Deputies are searching for a missing and endangered woman.
Deputies were notified that the woman was missing at approximately 6:19 p.m. by the reporting party, who advised that she was not at her residence.
According to officials, the missing woman was identified as Elinor Catherine Caples, 86, of Golden Valley.
Caples' vehicle was also missing from the residence, listed as a 2015 white Nissan Frontier, license plate BKW1329.
The reporting party also advised that Caples is showing signs of dementia.
At approximately 7:20 p.m., Department of Public Safety Troopers were notified that a vehicle matching Caples' was seen driving erratically into oncoming traffic on Highway 66 at milepost 78 heading towards Seligman.
Officials ask anyone driving in the area to be on the lookout for Caples and her vehicle.
