According to Mobile Police, on Friday, June 2, 2023, at approximately 8:20 p.m., officers responded to a domestic altercation in the 5000 block of Ruger Court involving an assault.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that the victim’s girlfriend brandished a gun, fired shots at him, and missed.

The girlfriend's 13-year-old daughter then cut the victim with a knife.

The victim was transported to the hospital for a non-life-threatening injury.

The 13-year-old will be charged with assault and transported to Strickland Youth Center after being released from the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries received from the altercation.

Laureen Sullivan, 34, was transported to Metro Jail.
