The settlement filed in the lawsuit by Mobile Police Officeralleging violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act, has been rejected by US District Court Judge Kristi DuBose.

Judge DuBose, in reviewing the settlement, determined that too many rights of the plaintiffs were given away and questioned the calculation of attorney fees.

The officers and the City of Mobile have until June 23 to file an amended agreement that addresses the issues raised.
