ALDOT is asking for your input on transportation improvements over the next 4 years.

The 2024-2027 TIP, or Transportation Improvement Plan, was released yesterday and ALDOT has scheduled three public input meetings in our area.

In Mobile on June 12 at 5:30pm at the GM&O building downtown, for Baldwin County on June 13th at 3:00pm at the Central Annex Building in Robertsdale and on June 14th at 3:00pm at the Atmore City Hall in Escambia County.

Significant projects on the plan include the Mobile River Bridge Project from Broad Street to the Baldwin County line for $1.6 billion, $32 million for the widening of !-10 from the Bayway to the Malbis exit, and $80 million for improvements at the Port of Mobile.

In total, Mobile is slated for 51 projects with a total price tag of $2,056,370,000, Baldwin has 43 projects with a total of $364,830,000.
