The Mobile Police Department has announced a third arrest in the case involving the death of 50-year-old Michael E. Carmichael on the 1500 block of Heron Drive.

Police arrested Sincere Jadakiss Payne, 21, on charges of murder and robbery.

On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at approximately 12:17 a.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired on the 1500 block of Heron Drive and discovered a 50-year-old male lying on the roadway with a gunshot wound. He succumbed to his injuries on scene.
