Former Mobile Police Officer arrested for domestic violence (WPMI)
Mobile, Ala. (WPMI) —
A former Mobile Police Officer has been arrested and charged with domestic violence.

According to the Mobile Police Department, former police officer Jacob Matthews resigned from the Mobile Police Department while under a criminal and administrative investigation.
Matthews submitted his resignation on March 22, 2023, prior to being arrested and charged with domestic violence strangulation and suffocation.
He was hired in September 2018.
