People all over Mobile woke up at the crack of dawn this morning to kick of their St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

For some, the holiday means bringing back old traditions and celebrating the Irish culture. For others, it simply means getting together with your friends, and having a good time.

It wasn't just Mobilians celebrating either; the festivities drew in people from all across the country!

NBC 15's Lisa Librenjak talked to people from Louisiana, Chicago, and even Virginia, who decided that they want to celebrate this St. Patrick’s Day in Mobile, Alabama!
