Scattered showers and thunderstorms are ongoing today across western Montana. With thunderstorms comes heavy rain, and heavy rain concentrated over a small area for a long period of time could mean the potential for flash flooding over a concentrated area. Any thunderstorms that develop will be capable of frequent lightning and gusty winds as well. If you have outdoor plans, keep an eye on the sky, and be ready to move indoors as necessary.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue into the weekend. Highs will remain in the 60s and 70s for Memorial Day Weekend.
