Another day with scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially across southwest Montana. This is courtesy of an area of low pressure that will linger over the Pacific Northwest through the weekend. This means we'll be tracking the daily threat of showers and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms will develop during the afternoon hours. Any storm that develops will produce brief heavy rain and gusty winds. Highs will remain a few degrees above average in the 60s and 70s.
Memorial Day Weekend will feature more of the same. While not a complete washout, the threat for thunderstorms (mainly in the PM) means you should stay alert to changing weather conditions! If you have outdoor plans, keep an eye on the sky, and be ready to move indoors if necessary.
PM thunderstorms will continue into much of next week, with warmer temperatures expected.
