Missoula County Sheriff and Coroner Jeremiah Petersen has identified the woman that was found deceased in her Missoula home on May 14.
Taeko Miller, 68, was found in her home on the 500 block of South Avenue West.
Miles Otis Miller, 21, is accused of killing his mother. He faces felony charges of deliberate homicide and tampering with evidence.
Officers responded to the home after Miles Otis Miller called and reported his mother was unconscious.
When police arrived, a firefighter on scene told the detective the woman was dead.
According to the charging affidavit, the victim suffered from fatal lacerations.
Miller pleaded not guilty to killing his mother in District Court on May 16 and a judge set bail at $2 million.
The next hearing is set for July 19.
