LIST: Where to donate to help Mississippi tornado victims
SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) - Deadly tornadoes tore through Mississippi and Alabama Friday night, leaving at least 23 people dead and many others injured and missing.
Governor Tate Reeves declared a state of emergency Saturday in all counties affected by the storms: Sharkey, Humphreys, Carroll and Monroe counties.
Now, many coast cities and charitable organizations are working to send water and supplies to those who need it, in towns like Amory, Rolling Fork and Silver City.
BAY ST. LOUIS
The City of Bay St. Louis is collecting water and supplies like tarps, medicine, batteries, flashlights and canned goods. You can drop off donations at either fire station in the city. Here are their locations:

BILOXI
Biloxi is accepting donations for victims in the form of on-perishables, water, and everyday basic necessities. Donations can be dropped off at any of the Biloxi Fire Stations.

D’IBERVILLE
Donations can be brought to the D’Iberville Fire Department. Requested items include high-visibility vests for workers/volunteers, water, batteries of all sizes, basic cleaning supplies, paper towels, garbage cans and bags, duct and electrical tape, tarps, candles and lamp oil, bandages, triple-antibiotic ointment, diapers and wipes, sunscreen, and 2-cycle oil for chainsaws.

GULFPORT
You can drop off cases of water at any Gulfport fire station. Here are their locations:

HARRISON COUNTY
Harrison County Sheriff’s Office is also taking up donations at the Sheriff’s Office Work Center between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

MOSS POINT
Citizens are asked to donate water to help residents of Rolling Fork and Silver Springs. Donations can be made at City Hall and Fire Stations.

OCEAN SPRINGS
Items such as blankets, work gloves, first aid kits and hand tools are being accepted at Fire Station #1 in Ocean Springs. A full list of accepted items can be viewed in the city’s Facebook post below.

PASCAGOULA
Items such as bottled water, canned goods, toiletries, diapers, paper products, pre-packaged snacks and Tyvek suits are being accepted at the Pascagoula Senior Center.

PICAYUNE
The city of Picayune will be taking donations at the Central Fire Station through Friday. Officials hope to deliver the items within a week.
- 435 S. Loftin Avenue
WOOLMARKET
The Mississippi Department of Public Safety has opened a donation site at Troop K in Woolmarket. Accepted items include water, canned foods, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, paper products and sunscreen. The site will remain open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Tuesday to Thursday
