Booneville Man Charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence

A Booneville man has been arrested and charged with tampering with physical evidence.

According to a press release from Booneville Police Department, on June 30, 2024, a reported assault at Martin Luther King Drive led to an officer investigation. The investigation led officers to seek assistance from from the detectives of the Criminal Investigation Division.

Following the investigation, an arrest was made and Jalen Marques Taylor, 26, of Booneville was taken into custody.

Taylor's arrest was made on August 7, 2024, with bond being set at $5,000. The case will be presented to the Prentiss County Grand Jury.
